Natural Navigation
SPOCS32 makes retrieving information as effortless as entering it. Designed for intuitive workflow, it allows seamless transitions between screens as you search for data. For example, within the Specifications tab of the Customer Record, you can view all specifications for that customer and instantly open a specific one by simply double-clicking on it.
Similarly, from the Spec screen, you can navigate effortlessly by selecting the Costing or Works Orders tab and double-clicking to open a specific Works Order or costing directly.

Stock levels update automatically upon delivery, reducing the need for manual stock transfers or adjustments—though these functions remain available to support growing stock management needs.

Invoice Data Transfer
SPOCS does not include an accounting system, as most sheet plants already have one with trained personnel in place. However, SPOCS can seamlessly transfer invoice data into all major accounting packages, including Sage, Xero, SAP, QuickBooks, Opera, and many more.
If your accounting system is not currently supported—or if it has been customised by your provider—we are happy to collaborate with your accounting system supplier to develop a compatible format.
Power Delivered Securely
SPOCS features a robust Security Model, allowing individual screen components to be set as Read-only, Disabled, or Invisible for each user.
User access is managed efficiently through User Templates, simplifying the creation of new users with predefined permissions. This ensures:
- Restricted Editing – Low-level users can access forms for reference but cannot make changes.
- Confidential Data Protection – Sensitive information can be concealed, even within commonly accessed screens.
For example, the Customer Record screen includes a tab for confidential account data (e.g., credit limits). By setting this tab as Invisible in the general User Template and enabling it only for privileged users, unauthorised users won’t even be aware of its existence.
Transaction Logging & Error Tracking
Transaction logging in SPOCS ensures full traceability, providing a clear record whenever a user creates, modifies, or deletes major records. If you've ever wondered, “Who changed this Spec?” and received no answers, you'll appreciate the value of this feature.
Interestingly, when users know transaction logging is active, they tend to make fewer errors, promoting accountability and precision.
